The city of Coeur d'Alene has officially endorsed the construction of ADU's on properties in the city limits. What was once a hot topic is now being promoted by city officials as the answer to housing issues. Committee member and former NIBCA President, Art Elliott, said ADUs help to increase housing density without ruining the overall vibe of a neighborhood. Each ADU in the city limits will be a maximum of 800 square feet, making them energy efficient and space efficient. You would be surprised at how much you can fit in 800 square feet. If you don't believe me, look up some videos online and your mind will be blown at what people are doing in the design world nowadays. The city offers free plans for anyone to use, this makes the permitting process 10x faster than before. Saving you time and money. If you'd like to check some of those plans out, or some of the plans we offer, click on this link: https://www.bugleconstructionanddecking.com/floorplans

Throw those depressing apartment complexes out the door and let's build something that maintains the aesthetics of our beloved city. Take advantage of your unutilized space with an ADU. Not only do these ADUs answer our prayers regarding lack of housing, but I believe it will revitalize a sense of community in Coeur d'Alene. It physically brings us closer together, and it enables us to start forming new bonds and a fresh sense of kinship with our neighbors. Just imagine, if you decide to build an ADU so that your nephew, or grandson and his wife can get a solid place to stay, it will bring you closer to family and friends. This will extremely improve everyone's happiness levels and social levels. If you couldn't already tell, I am a big fan of this new trend. I am all for building a tight knit Coeur d'Alene. So lets do it! If you are interested in building an ADU or Tiny home of your own, get started by reaching out to Bugle Construction. We have been building ADUs and Tiny Homes in the North Idaho area for quite a while now. It would be our pleasure to build one for you.
