We start where the sun lands in the afternoon, where the wind comes from, and where the snow slides off your roof. Those three things decide the shape before anyone talks about decking colour.
Then the structure follows: footing depth for your frost line, framing spacing for your snow load, drainage that moves water away from the house, and railing that keeps the sight line you bought the lot for.

Freeze-thaw detailing
Water that gets into a fastener hole or a footing and freezes will move your structure. Flashing and drainage get detailed before framing.

We do not publish prices, because a number without your site behind it is a guess — and the ones you see advertised usually are. Here is what actually moves it, so you can judge any quote you get, ours included.
The site
Access, slope, soil and how far services have to run. Two identical builds on different lots are not the same price, and the difference is decided before anything is drawn.
Size and structure
Span, storeys and roof geometry drive the frame. A simple shape built well is almost always better value than a complicated one built to a budget.
Materials
The same deck in cedar, composite or full PVC covers a wide range. We price the options side by side so the trade-off is yours to make, not ours to assume.
Finish level
Where the money goes once the structure is done. This is the part you can move most, and the part we can phase if it helps.
