The short version

The slab is the decision that matters.

Most shop regret traces back to two things: a slab that was not poured for the weight it now carries, and doors an inch too short for the machine that showed up. Both are expensive to fix and free to get right at the start.

So we ask what you park, what you lift and what you might buy in five years — then engineer thickness, reinforcement and control joints to match, and set the openings from the real dimensions.

The first walk-through is how we both decide whether we are the right fit. You get straight answers either way.

What's included

What youactually get.

01

Engineered slab

Thickness, reinforcement and control joint layout designed for your equipment, not defaulted to a standard pour.

02

Clear-span structure

Post-frame or conventional framing that keeps the floor open — no columns in the middle of your working space.

03

Doors sized properly

Overhead, sliding and oversize openings set from the real height and width of what has to come through.

04

Insulation and heat

Envelope and heating packages so the building is usable in January, not just in July.

05

Power and lighting

Panel sizing, outlet layout and lighting planned around workstations rather than added afterwards.

06

Mezzanine and office

Framed during structure rather than retrofitted, with the loading designed in from the start.

Why Bugle

Why hire usfor this.

We ask about the equipment first

Before footprint or finish, we want to know what lives inside. Everything structural follows from that.

Post-frame when it earns its place

It dries in faster and spans wider for less. When your footprint does not suit it, we will tell you and price the alternative.

Built for snow country

Roof pitch and panel choice are matched to your elevation so snow sheds away from your doors, not onto them.

Highly recommend Bugle Construction! We had a portion of our large asphalt driveway replaced with exposed aggregate concrete. Tyler D. met with us, understood our goals and design ideas and provided us with an estimate. He was also a very responsive point pe…

I recently worked with Bugle on a covered deck addition to my property. Everyone is stunned by the craftsmanship of the finished product. Pictures truly don't do it justice. Michael set up all the moving pieces for any subcontractors and was transparent and f…

Bugle Construction did a beautiful job with our timber wrap around covered porch, and window eyebrows. We couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out! They started the job in the middle of the winter months and had some zero degree days to deal with. They…

The money question

What decideswhat it costs.

We do not publish prices, because a number without your site behind it is a guess — and the ones you see advertised usually are. Here is what actually moves it, so you can judge any quote you get, ours included.

The site

Access, slope, soil and how far services have to run. Two identical builds on different lots are not the same price, and the difference is decided before anything is drawn.

Size and structure

Span, storeys and roof geometry drive the frame. A simple shape built well is almost always better value than a complicated one built to a budget.

Materials

The same deck in cedar, composite or full PVC covers a wide range. We price the options side by side so the trade-off is yours to make, not ours to assume.

Finish level

Where the money goes once the structure is done. This is the part you can move most, and the part we can phase if it helps.

Bugle is a builder, not a lender — but Jared Teel and Jason Kuettel are the two local loan officers our clients most often work with, and both are used to construction draws. Their details are published in full.
